10+ Years in Early Education

Claire has spent many years in early education, beginning as a preschool lead teacher on Beacon Hill and later leading a nature-based program with Mass Audubon in Mattapan. Most recently, she supported a larger early childhood education program in Milton. Claire lives in Dorchester with her two sons (both UMass Boston students), her partner, and youngest son's two birds and even a pet snake! In her free time, Claire enjoys gardening, cooking, and reading.

Rose Buzzell

28+ Years in Early Education

Rose has been passionate about early education since 1998, bringing 28 years of experience supporting children, families, and school communities. Throughout her career, she has worked with children of all ages, from infants through kindergarten, and has served in leadership roles including Teacher, Assistant Director, Director, and Regional Manager. Rose is passionate about building strong relationships, supporting school leaders, and creating positive experiences for children, families, and educators. Outside of work, Rose enjoys spending time outdoors, making memories with her family, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She is the proud mom of two children, her son currently serves in the United States Air Force, and her daughter attends Quinnipiac University. Rose looks forward to connecting with each school community!

Classroom sizes follow Massachusetts licensing ratios and Little Sprouts standards: Infants: 1:3 or 2:7 child-to-teacher ratio, Infant/Toddler classroom: 2:7–2:9 (depending on ages), Toddlers: 2:9, Toddler/Preschool transition: 2:9, Preschool: 2:20. These ratios ensure children receive individualized care, strong supervision, and meaningful learning experiences at every age.

Yes. Our school is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to support your work schedule and provide your child with a full day of engaging, nurturing care.
