Christine Clarke

40+ Years of Experience in ECE

Christine has been a dedicated professional in the field of Early Education since 1985. She holds a BA in Education and began her career as an Infant teacher, later transitioning to Pre-K. After many years of teaching, Christine advanced to the role of Director in Early Education, driven by her passion for broadening young children’s minds. In her spare time, Christine enjoys walking her dog, reading mystery novels, and completing puzzles. Her extensive experience and commitment to early childhood education make her an invaluable leader at Little Sprouts Watertown.

With Little Sprouts since 2003

Earning her bachelor’s degree in education from Boston University, she began as a preschool/kindergarten teacher and also taught infants and toddlers. In 2005, Kate became the Preschool Assistant Director, and in 2007, she started her role as Executive Director. Kate takes great pride in knowing all of the families at her school and enjoys spending time with the students every day. Outside of Little Sprouts, Kate is married and has two children. She loves spending time with her family and seeing her children grow at Little Sprouts.

Yes. Our school is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to support your work schedule and provide your child with a full day of engaging, nurturing care.

We offer access to our STEAM room for preschool and pre-K students, as well as a dedicated library space for all age groups. Music classes will resume once a new music teacher is hired.

We host multiple family events, including Fall Fest, Spring Fling, a Festival of Lights, and an end-of-year picnic. We also coordinate community service projects such as food drives, animal shelter collections, and care packages for the local library.

We recently partnered with the local public library to create “bags of joy” for library patrons. Our school continues to explore additional community connections throughout the year.
