Ages 15 months to 2.9 years
The toddler years are a time of incredible growth and discovery. At this age, children begin to assert independence, explore the world around them, and develop key skills. Toddlers are learning to communicate more effectively, form relationships, and navigate new physical and cognitive challenges. At Little Sprouts, our toddler program is specifically designed to support this critical (and busy!) stage of development, providing an environment where curiosity is encouraged, movement is celebrated, and social skills are nurtured.
Confident movers & curious thinkers
Toddlers learn best by doing—and they’re always on the move! Our program is designed to nurture both their growing minds and their developing bodies through hands-on experiences, interactive play, and plenty of room to explore. Whether they’re stacking blocks, drawing with crayons, running, or climbing, toddlers are constantly building important cognitive and physical skills.
We support critical thinking and imagination through creative play, problem-solving, and sensory exploration. At the same time, we encourage gross motor development with safe spaces for jumping, balancing, and active movement, while refining fine motor skills with engaging tools and materials. It all adds to greater independence, growing confidence, and joyful learning every step of the way.

Your toddler is discovering who they are—and we’re here to support every step of that journey. Our program is designed to nurture independence, spark curiosity, and build strong social-emotional foundations. As toddlers learn to navigate their feelings, express themselves, and interact with others, we create a supportive environment that encourages empathy, cooperation, and confidence.
Language development is in full bloom at this stage, and we embrace it through rich storytelling, songs, books, and meaningful conversations. Our literacy-rich classrooms help toddlers grow their vocabulary, strengthen communication skills, and begin to express big ideas in little words.
We also offer endless opportunities for exploration and creativity. Sensory play, art, building, and nature-based experiences allow children to engage with the world in hands-on, imaginative ways—laying the groundwork for critical thinking and joyful discovery. Through our thoughtful curriculum and daily experiences, your toddler is developing the tools to be a kind, curious, and confident learner.

Little sprouts in Lawrence are doing great job with my two little ones, they take good care of my 5month old girl who just started with them, all the teachers in infant 3 are awesome, respectful, friendly and very caring . Also the pre school 1! in fact I really appreciate all the support they give to my kid and all the children they take care of they are wonderful people, I also appreciate all the management team they are the best. So lucky to be part of the school.
We have two children enrolled at Little Sprouts in Dedham and have experience from the infant room all the way through pre-school. All of the teachers are kind, enthusiastic and caring, and made the transition into school a breeze for both kids. Karen & Alyssa are super organized & communicative. We enjoy getting pictures of the kids throughout the day - often it is hard to get them to leave at the end of the day!
We love Miss Nicole - she has been the teacher for both our kids and they adore her! Our oldest asks for her all the time!
Ms Cook and Ms Rose are wonderful teachers. Our son absolutely loves going to school and we know he learns so much for them and his peers. He tells us all about the fun daily activities and we couldn’t ask for a better learning environment for our kids.

My wife and I can't say enough positive things about Little Sprouts Watertown. Our 3 year old has been there for just over 6 months and absolutely loves the center. The ability to get outside and be active on their playgrounds is fantastic. The teachers have been so supportive and nurturing as our daughter develops. Just an amazing place!
Highly recommend! Our son has been at Little Sprouts for about 5 months now and we are very impressed! The teachers are very loving and do a lot of great activities with the kiddos. Our 4-year old daughter (at a different school) often comes with us to pickup our son and the teachers always greet her by name and give her a big hello, which makes her feel very special. Their warmth is greatly appreciated! I would recommend Little Sprouts without hesitation.
