Announcing our grand opening of the new Lowell Collaborative Preschool Academy! Little Sprouts, in partnership with Community Teamwork Inc., the City of Lowell, and the State of Massachusetts, is proud to open this new preschool and expand the power of early education to young children in the Lowell community. Opening its doors on Monday, October 5, 2015, the Lowell Collaborative Preschool Academy was made possible by the Preschool Development Grants issued by the U.S. Department of Education.
The objective of the grant is to better understand the impact of offering high-quality preschool to 4-year-olds from low- and moderate-income families. Today, Commissioner Tom Weber from the Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) and Rodney Elliott, the mayor of Lowell, were excited to visit the school in celebration of this new educational initiative.
