For our FRIENDS Friday message this week, I am excited to celebrate Kyle S., formerly of Dedham and now of BUMC. I received the below nomination for FRIENDS Friday from Nicole Bartlett, Assistant Director of Education. Here is what Nicole had to say:
“Kyle had been working at Dedham in toddlers for years and was a loved part of that family. He had a dream to teach preschool and came to BU’s aid in a time of need. He may have been given more than he bargained for, but he is determined. Even when the classroom is tough, he keeps a smile on his face. His positive attitude is refreshing. We could see from his celebrated entrance at the staff meeting that he is loved at the Dedham school. His new co-workers at BU are also learning that Kyle’s positive outlook and cheerful personality are infectious. Even after the short time he has been at BU, the families are requesting Mr. Kyle’s presence when they have questions about their children. He has built trust very quickly. I once asked Kyle if he was feeling stressed out with all of the changes and challenges of taking over a preschool classroom. He related his feelings to being Rocky, sometimes you feel worn down but he’s ready to make a comeback in the sequel! Kyle is thoughtful, kind and a wonderful role model for his students!”
Nicole’s note makes it clear that Kyle is absolutely an educator who exudes Real Passion for his work. We are lucky to have him in the Little Sprouts family.
Thanks, Kyle, for living our values!
