Happy sunny Friday!
For today’s celebration I want to share an acknowledgment of our longtime incredible leader, Regional Director Heather Mohika. I received this inspiring note from Aimee Cormier, Executive Director in our Peabody school. Here is what she said:
“I wanted to take a moment to pass along my sincere gratitude for the support everyone in the home office has showed me during my first year here at Little Sprouts. Change can be scary, but I can honestly say joining the Little Sprouts family has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Most importantly, I would like to recognize all of the support my RD has shown me. Heather has been very welcoming since day one here in Peabody. She is always available, approachable, and has been extremely patient while I learned all the ins and outs of Little Sprouts. She makes it a point during our weekly calls to see if I need anything and check in on how I’m feeling. I’m so appreciative of all that she does to support me in my role as ED, as well as our Peabody school.”
Aimee hit the nail on the head. I already used the word once in this email, but I don’t care… I’m using it again… Heather is INCREDIBLE. She has the highly unusual and very special ability to demonstrate character traits that are often at odds. She can be both nurturing and tough. She can be compassionate and challenging. She can be poised one minute and exuberant the next. She is a one-of-a-kind leader that Little Sprouts is massively lucky to count as a member of the family. I’m not even going to try to pick one of our FRIENDS values that she represents because to do so would suggest that there are others she doesn’t personify – and that would be false.
