Yoga for Kids at Home
The furious pace we tend to keep can be overwhelming and stressful for our children. Stress can be seen in children in a variety of ways, some of which, like tightness in the joints and muscles and the inability to focus, can be alleviated with a regular yoga practice.
Yoga can help boost children’s moods, encourage compassion, increase body awareness, enhance flexibility, while calming the mind and body.
Yoga and meditation give children tools to combat the anxiety and stress and build resilience. Children can also benefit from yoga’s playful connection to nature through a variety of poses, many of which are named after animals! Yoga also provides a light, low impact form of exercise that is easy on the body and fun!
