Little Sprouts, an award-winning provider of early education and child care, acquired three schools from A Place To Grow in Arlington (Pleasant St.), Belmont, and Concord, Massachusetts on July 1, 2015. After over 35 years of cultivating a nurturing community of educators at A Place to Grow, owner and operator, Suzanne Foley, hand-selected Little Sprouts to perpetuate the supportive, caring legacy that A Place to Grow has fostered over so many years. Foley commented, “Thank you for allowing me to care for the children in these wonderful communities for over three decades. It has truly been a privilege.”
Under the leadership of President and CEO, Mark Anderegg, Little Sprouts continues its growth journey, having recently opened two additional new schools in Melrose, MA, and Stratham, NH. Anderegg remarked, “We are grateful to Suzanne for her considerable achievements in early education in these communities. Welcoming three new schools to Little Sprouts further underscores our commitment to selectively acquiring high quality programs in the New England area. We remain devoted to offering exceptional early education and look forward to building upon the qualities that have enabled these schools to thrive.” With the acquisition of three new schools, Little Sprouts now owns and operates 22 schools in New England.
In the spirit of partnership, Little Sprouts aims to ease the transition for all by maintaining high quality service for families and a deep respect for staff. Having opened its doors in 1982, Little Sprouts is no stranger to new schools over its 33 years in business and is proud to serve individual communities through a customized approach. Alison Boucher, Little Sprouts’ Senior Regional Director and a 21-year veteran of the company, shared, “As we grow, we seek to understand each individual community we serve. Our mission remains to develop learning experiences that resonate powerfully with each family, child and professional.”
For over 30 years, Little Sprouts has provided early education and child care to infants, toddlers and preschoolers throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The organization has been nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a “Preschool Center of Educational Excellence.”
